We watched Doctor Who at Preston's house and Serena rolls her eyes at my obsession
Serena and I being incredibly tired. at about 4 a.m. we decided to paint… it was fantastical
Ok, Serena has this strange bucket list of things she wants to experience.
Getting a pie thrown in her face was on that list.
Being the good friend I am, I decided that before she moved we had to do this. I went to Broulim's and bought Graham Cracker pie crust, and whipped cream. Then we threw pies at each other in my front yard and ate the Graham Cracker crust afterwards.
This is one of the weekends Serena and Laurel came back up to Idaho. Laurel stayed the night at my house and we partied it up and laughed like weirdos. On Saturday we went to Preston's house and goofed off. Preston's friends Grant and James came over to say hello.

Family Update

Skyler is hanging in there with Tasha. Tasha's kids, Jeremiah and Kaibree are doing good. Skyler's boy Shane is also doing good and he is as cute as a button in this picture with Skyler.  (below)

Shawn and Katie have their 2 kiddos Rain Shia and Willow Charlotte. (above) They are doing we and are all super cute!

^ Braxton, Harper, Eric, Talon, Beckii, & Conner. ^

Beckii and Eric have their 4 kiddos Braxton Tyler, Conner Grant, Talon Carter, and Harper Leighton. They are also doing well. Yesterday I went to Hogle Zoo with them in Salt Lake. It was a blast. We got to see the elephants, monkeys, snakes, rhinos, alligators, big cats, seals, sea lions, and of course the GIRAFFES! (Giraffes are my favorites.) Braxton loved the elephants, Conner was excited about the snakes, Talon and Harper just loved everything. Harper waved at all the animals and it was the most adorable thing you could ever see! She loved waving at the little monkeys.

Band 2014

So, I am in Jazz Band and Wind Ensemble.
I love music and I love being able to put to use my talents. During the second trimester of Jazz band, we had Jazz Fest. We went down to ISU in Pocatello. I got to skip a whole day of school! It was great and we did really well! My friends Melissa and Marci were there with me. Melissa plays the saxophone and Marci plays the trumpet. After our competition we went to Golden Coral and ate our hearts our. I had a ton of cheesecake. It was so fun!
This trimester I don't have wind ensemble, but I am still able to be in the performances. The second Thursday of third tri, the wind ensemble went down to ISU for a competition. It was awesome! My best friend Taylor got to come with us. Melissa and Marci were with us also. We played really well and had a lot of fun!!
This year I get to play at graduation which I am thoroughly excited about because, well, then I don't have to go to a whole day of school. But also I get to spend a whole day with Melissa, Marci, and Taylor. Another cool thing about it is that Michael is graduating!! Crazy!! So yeah I get to play at his graduation its gonna be super cool and Mom is happy about it.

Drama 2014

Well this year I am a freshman in Rigby High School.
I stage/prop directed the Middle School's fall play. It was rather interesting...
I tried out for out spring musical, but didn't make it, which wasn't a surprise because freshmen don't usually get in anyways. So, instead I decided I would direct the Middle School's play… yeah I said direct.  Mr. Crasper calls us the Student Directors, but really, he knows that we are THE Directors. We do pretty much everything. Oh it was crazy! I absolutely loved it though. I had amazing kids to direct and I loved them all even though some of them could be a little trying at times. The play was awesome, and not to brag or anything, but we honestly had the best play. Crasper told me personally. I was so proud of all my kids when they preformed and I wish I had told them more. From all of this I learned how to be a better leader, how to be patient, and how to deal with lots of responsibility and stress. The play was kind of all on me… even though my kids preformed it. But Crasper didn't really lean in and direct so it was all me.
Funny story about being a director:
Well first, let me give you a backstory. So, Back in the day, Shakespeare, arguably the greatest playwright of all time, tried to put exotic words like flap-dragon, strumpet, and beslubbering in his plays. Shakespeare's plays were all about the words and people would look forward to going to his plays to hear these exotic words and see was new tragedies or comedies he could come up with. Or what new part of the depths of humans' souls and minds he would explore.
Since eighth grade, our student directors have challenged each other to use some weird word in their speech at the beginning of the play. We welcome all the people, tell them house rules, thank the parents and things, then tell about our experience. So this year I was a director!! I got to use a dorky word! So I was challenged by one of my good friends to use "Primate" and "Chimichangas". Mean. Just plain mean. I  mean primates? REALLY? I had no idea how I was going to use that when I went out on stage to do my speech. I told about my experience near the end and LIGHTBULB! I told them how there was twice as many "primate children" as when I was in the plays as an eighth grader. I got about 300 weird looks from that comment. I used chimichangas as I was closing up my speech by saying "Well, I'm hungry, enjoy the play, I'm gonna go eat myself a chimichanga." I got a good laugh from that. My best guy friend Preston was out in the crowd and he thoroughly enjoyed that comment because we have a running joke about chimichangas.

I tried out for Troyplayers for next year. Troyplayers is Rigby high's theatre group. We get to be in all the play's productions. So yep! I get to be in the high school's plays this coming year and I am very excited!

Drama 2013
This was my second play as an eighth grader in Rigby Junior High.
I loved this experience and had the time of my life with all my friends in the play!
I got to be onstage during the whole play and i had a considerable amount of lines.
I played the part of the "Exercise Babs" which was basically a knockoff version of an exercise Barbie. The name of the play was called "Noise of the Toys" it was about all the toys getting together to save their toy shop and make "Gertie" the grumpy old store owner stay with them and be happy. They make up this plan to keep them all together in the middle of the night and wake up Gertie. They convince her that the whole thing is a dream and save themselves as well as help Gertie to be a happy old lady.

Beckii took our photos for us and they look fantastic!
The above (from left to right) is Anne as"Ditz Babs", McKayla as "Bride Babs", Me as "Exercise Babs", and Annalee as "Spice Babs".
These two are the little babies… Emmalee and one of my very good friends Karla.
This is all of us before the play started as nevous as could be!
From left to right this is Chelsea as "Hairspray" (or i think that was the character's name?) me, and Karla. We were chillin before the start and Beckii came and snapped us.
This is after the play and I finally am not nervous!
From left to right this is Kenny as "King Kong", Zach as "Forrest Stump" (knock off of Forrest Gump)  Anne, McKayla, Me, Karla, Emmalee, Annalee, Chelsea, and Xela as "Lioness". In this scene, me and the babies were whining about something sad.
So yep that was my awesome 8th grade play!! Thanks to my Director, Mr. Crasper, and my Student Director, Kayla Mower.
